Welcome to our little corner of the fiber world. We're Jon and Phil, husbands, fiber enthusiasts, and the humans behind this farm.

Our story began in New Hampshire, where we set down roots and started raising alpacas and angora goats alongside our two dogs. There's something magical about waking up to a pasture full of curious, fluffy creatures, and we were hooked from the very first fleece. What started as a small, focused operation slowly (and somewhat predictably) grew. A flock of chickens arrived. A few ducks decided they belonged here too. And before long, we found ourselves welcoming Jon's family's horses to the farm. Each addition brought its own personality, its own rhythm, and its own place in the daily life of the farm.

But for us, the animals are only half of the joy. The other half lives in what their fiber becomes.

Jon spends his time at the spinning wheel, the dye pots, and the loom — turning raw fleece into yarn, color, and cloth. There's a particular kind of satisfaction in following a single fleece from skirting table to finished woven piece, and it's a journey he never tires of. Phil, meanwhile, is the knitter of the household. Whether he's working with hand needles, his flatbed knitting machines, or one of his many antique sock machines, his hands are almost always busy.

After many wonderful years in New Hampshire, we recently made the leap and moved down to Maryland. A new state, new pastures, new neighbors — and a chance to build the next chapter of our fiber adventures. As we settle in, we're excited to restart the fiber herd by adding sheep to the farm, opening up a whole new world of wool, breeds, and fiber traditions to explore.

We're so glad you found your way here. Whether you're a fellow fiber lover, a curious neighbor, or someone who just appreciates a good farm story, we're happy to have you along for the ride.
